UKC Show

Well today Peace and I went and played at the UKC show. UKC has a non licensed class for 3-6 month puppies, so we decided to give it a try. UKC shows generally are smaller than AKC here in Minnesota, but they are a bit more relaxed and usually hold 2 shows a day. There weren't a lot of puppies, but Peace won Best Novice Puppy in Show in both shows. She was really tired by the end, and I am not sure she really had fun, but I sure did. Hopefully by the next UKC show, Grace will have enough hair back that she can go play too.

Congratulations Dawn. What a great way to start out with a new puppy. She's lovely.

Thank you! UKC is awesome for starting out a puppy- the novice puppy class is inexpensive, the shows are smaller so its a chance to be around the other dogs but not be super overwhelmed like a big AKC show. Great opportunity for practice. There is another one in a couple of weeks and I am also going to take Talie to that one.
