Thank you

Everyone. For both the wonderful comments on my little granddaughter and for the training insights. I have to be really motivated to train at home lately, so I am hoping that by reading or watching some new info I will jump to it!

Welcome Kristy

Meet Kristyonna Victoria Fisher. Kristy arrived this afternoon at 4:50. 8 pounds 6.5 ounces and 21.25 inches long. She has lots of dark hair, and seems to be very easy going so far. We were there when she had a shot and while she cried for a minute or so, she settled down and just looked around very quickly. Her Mom thinks she looks like Dad, but I could see some Katie in her too. Katie had a bit of a tough time, and Kristy did come via C-section, but Katie was doing pretty good, although very tired. The kids did a good job.

Wanted to borrow

If anyone has any good dog training books or DVD's/videos that they would be willing to loan out I would appreciate the use. I will pay any shipping costs both ways. Due to the fact that I am the only income in my home right now, I can't afford classes or to purchase materials. So I am begging to borrow. I am interested in just about any training, but I would love to be able to see Susan Garrets 2 x 2 weave training dvd, Control Unleashed and Crate Games, but would be interested in any other recommended training helps. Thanks!

No Baby yet

We are still waiting. I took the sweater to work today and my boss asked me to make one for her. She has a frined who had twin premies. One didnt make it, and the other is still in the hospital. So I guess I will be doing a repeat.

Peace is not fond of my knitting. She thinks if I am sitting, she should be on my lap. But laying on the yarn just doesn't work. Oh well.

My first sweater

I have a new grandbaby due anytime now. I decided to try my hand at a baby sweater. We don't know the sex yet, but my son is a huge vikings fan, so we decided to go with sort of vikings colors. In reality the sweater is a bit duller than the picture shows. Even if its a girl, she can be a foot ball fan, besides it will only fit a short time because its pretty small. I couldn't figure out how to knit the button band, at least not correctly, so I crocheted it. Its not perfect, but for my first sweater I am pretty happy with it. Being self taught, I know that there are a lot of things I need to learn to do better, but at least I tried. Now the sweater is done, baby COME!

Ziggy is growing into a very handsome boy. I think sables are just so striking

Doesn't she look like her momma?
