wow a corgi who retrieves! Lance only barks.

Maybe he's a sheltie in disguise. Zippy only retrieves once in a while, not obsessively like his sheltie cousin

Cute photos! I've got one obsessive retriever who puts the toy directly in your hand, and one who retrieves but won't release it, instead insisting on a tug session. My first Cardi also retrieved very obsessively and endlessly. None had to be taught, they all seemed to retrieve instinctively.

Oliver does this too. Only he barks while he does it. Loudly. Constantly. A LOT! :) My dogs do tend to get too 'in' to the game also so i've had to start seperating them out for time alone with the ball. Well. Anything really. Oliver gets pretty creative as to what he thinks i should be throwing for him :)
